Attitude Of Gratitude
An attitude of gratitude can certainly increase your aptitude.
If anyone ever tells you that being thankful for the little things in life is a big waste of time just look at them and tell them to shut their big mouth, no I am just playing, but you should never allow anyone to limit your growth and receptivity to increase.
What do you me by growth and receptivity?
Well what I have notice is that the more thankful we are is more our capacity to receive more increase the science behind this could be explained in this way.
When we are being ungrateful it’s almost like our hands, hearts and minds are clasp shut so there is no space to receive anything else so if someone was handing you some wisdom, knowledge, solution or a hundred dollar bill you just simply couldn’t take it because if you should open your hands to receive anything else your ungratefulness would fall out and you certainly don’t want that do you?
So the opposite is true when you have an attitude of gratitude that thankfulness that you exercise daily expands your ability to receive more, so its like you ask for some water but instead of bringing a little cup you have a ditch that is the size of a pond or a lake and that is how thankfulness increases your capacity for receptivity your mind will always be open to new ideas your heart open for love and your ability to take on new challenges and master them will become much greater.
If you know someone who is constantly ungrateful and they come around you with that attitude do like a banana and split because that stuff is contagious and you certainly don’t want to catch it so remember if you want more be thankful for what you have and if you don’t believe me just try it for 30 full days being consistent and watch what happens.
An attitude of gratitude will surely increase your aptitude.
THANK YOU! J

How to overcome laziness in 4 Easy Steps
In this blog I want to talk about one of success biggest enemy this enemy is a close ally of procrastination as a matter of fact they are inseparable.
So who’s that Infamous enemy? Well you know the enemy that is always trying to block your progress and your desire to succeed, the one that we are talking about is LAZINESS.
Yes laziness this old enemy as prevent more progress than any other, all who have achieved greatness through out history had to conquer this great and powerful enemy and so should you if you wish to enjoy your life to the fullest.
In this blog I am going to share with you four simple but powerful steps that will help you overcome laziness, but first you have to understand that our will power is the greatest tool that we have and our will power is being tested every day and push beyond its limits or in other words that’s how we feel so in order to win in this daily battle we need to learn how to strengthen our defenses.
The key to overcoming laziness is motivation we have to leverage our strengths and gain more knowledge of our enemies.
The truth is we as humans are always moving toward something or we are moving away from something, we are either pushing towards pleasure or pulling way from pain.
These two great forces are always at work in every one once you’re a human being and to know how they function will help us to understand how to leverage these forces to our advantage.
So here are the four principles that you will need to implement in your daily life and once you stay committed you will start attracting success in every area of your life.
- What am I avoiding? (So First thing you will need to do is ask you self what am I trying to avoid, what do I not want) you have to be clear and honest with your self about this question so write it down if you have to and list what are the results and consequences of not taking action you need to know what is so painful that its preventing you from moving forward.
- What Do I want? (Ask your self what it is that I am aim for, what can I potentially achieve if I were to take action what would be the reward of my big bold move forward) this will give you clarity and reveal to you your (WHY) why you need to take action and accomplish your goals I recommend that you write this down in detail so you can have clear picture on the end result .
- Do it again! (Repeat the whole action 123 again and again until you form an habit out of them that cancel out your lazy pattern of doing things, you have to remember just like how an house is built by laying one brick at a time so too your small incremental steps will put you closer and closer to your Goals and your consistency will build momentum that will find it self manifesting in every area of your life so with those small steps daily you will achieve your goals.
Here is a bonus nugget that I feel like I should add that know will help to Give you more leverage in your pursuit of success,There are two kinds of people in this world there are the moving towards people and then there are the moving away from these two are pleasure seeker but the difference is.
- The moving away from person will do everything they can to avoid pain or what ever they deem to be painful even if its sacrificing there ultimate dream of success.
- The moving towards person is always pushing they want pleasure but if the only way they are going to get it is to endure temporary pain then they are going to go through the fire.
Now the key thing is any one can use either of these two forces to there advantage they just have to realise moving towards something is much more powerful than moving away from something the best thing to do is to Have a Goal so attractive and so compelling that it literally pulls you toward it and once you have that there is nothing that can stand in your way.
Over view:
- Figure out what it is that you are trying to avoid or what it is that you fear.
- Be very clear about what it is that you want and what you will gain by taking action.
- Make simple action plans and execute them step by step bit by bit, No step forward is ever too small.
- Do it again. Keep moving forward towards your Goals and repeat 123 until they become second nature.

You Can If You Think You Can
It's not who we are that holds us back, it's who we think we’re not.
I have come to realise that we often model our life base on other people’s expectations for us, positive or negative.
It’s almost like we go out of our way consciously or subconsciously to validate their spoken words for our lives, and this some time determine the success in our lives or maybe the lack there of.
But if we wish to achieve success in our life we have to take a stand and break free from the negative thought patterns that as kept us captive, because our mind push our thoughts, our thoughts push our actions, while our actions push our Lives.
“Successful people don't do great things they only do small things in a great way”.
There is a story that I love about a little boy who didn’t allow other people’s negative expectation of him to dictates his life and now every one all over the world are happy that he didn’t.
The story is about little Tommy.
One day a partially deaf four year old kid came home with a note in his pocket from his teacher and the note said “Your Tommy is too stupid to learn, get him out of the school."
His mother read the note and answered, "My Tommy is not stupid to learn, I will teach him myself" And that Tommy grew up to be who we know today without a doubt is the greatest inventor scientist and businessman of the modern era, the great Thomas A Edison.
Thomas Edison had only three months of formal schooling and he was partially deaf and was told that he was too stupid to learn but many of his over one thousand Ninety three (1093) inventions have profoundly changed the lives of everyone in the world.
Edison is considered one of the most prolific inventors in history, holding 1,093 U.S. patents in his name, as well as many patents in the United Kingdom, France and Germany.
- The Phonograph (Record player)
- The Light bulb
- The Carbon microphone used in all telephones (he made the telephone easier to use)
- Hello! (He coined the phrase HELLO!)
- Electricity (he electrifies the world)
- The First commercial fluoroscope (X-ray machine)
- The Stock ticker (the Stock ticker machines are an ancestor of the modern computer printer)
- The Motion picture camera (Thanks to Edison we now have a multi-billion dollar film industry because of is invention)
- The Quadruplex, sextuplex and multiplex (the telegraph which turned Western Union into a million-dollar company)
Thomas Edison tried fourteen thousand (14,000) times before he got a durable working light bulb and some one said to him “so you failed 14,000 times before you got it right huh” and “Thomas Edison replied and said no I’ve discovered 14,000 ways how not to make a sustainable light bulb.”
Can you believe that? He made 14,000 attempts and still he never gave up, but what blew me away is that he never saw is attempts as failures he saw them as progress and breakthroughs that lead to greatness because with every attempt he got stronger, wiser, confident and more focus because he knew that he had to prove it to himself that it was possible and he made his critiques eat their own words.
The only difference there are between you and Mr Edison is that he never listens to people who told him that he can’t do something and that is because he was hard of hearing that was his super secret weapon to greatness but guess what you too can shut your ears to all the people that are telling you that you cant and just keep trying.
In this game call life when it comes to opportunities you will always miss 99% of the shots that you DON'T TAKE.

You Can Still Catch Up
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
You are in charge of the ending; make it the one you want.
I am not telling you that it is going to be easy, but I am certainly telling you it is going to be worth it.
How many times have we found ourselves reflecting and looking at our lives even trying to compare it to other people’s life? And we’re saying to our selves that we can never achieve what they have?
We continue to feed ourselves on a steady diet of that same bull crap until we have put ourselves at a total disadvantage.
So where did we go wrong? What should we have done to win in the race call life?
Well I have learned the hard way and I hope you avoid the same mistakes that I made because if you don’t it will break you down literally.
What I have discovered is that you can not take one person achievements and measure your life by them, you can’t look at the big house, the Mercedes Benz or BMW the yacht, the multiple degrees or even the multi-million dollar companies that a person has.
What I’ve realise is that success always leave clues and these clues are always available to the diligent success student and the clues are also scalable which means they can always be applied to any given situation.
So what does this all mean to you and I? It simply means that instead of looking at the result of some ones achievement we should focus our attention on the process that took them there.
Nothing ever comes easy in life if you are willing to be hard on your self life will be easy for you, but if you are only willing to be easy on your self life will be hard for you.
So the best way for you to use some ones life to measure yours is by looking at the road that they took to get there and if the journey took them 10 years set a goal and tell your self that you will do it in 5 years and if it took them 5years tell your self that you will do it in 2/12 year, why? Because you are willing to work twice as hard twice as fast smarter but more importantly you are willing to be more committed and consistent than they were.
Just like the old adage say (“If you want to go some where, it is best to find some one who has already been there so they can give you directions”) the truth in this adage is that if some one travelled down that path before you did then they have discovered the many pit falls that lie in wait to take you out.
But if you learn there success techniques and how to avoid the pit falls you will achieve what they have achieve in half the time they did simply because you were more diligent.
Just remember success always leave clue so the next you see your class mate, your neighbour, old childhood friend that you grew up with or even the CEO to a multi-million dollar company that you aspire to Just ask your self what did they do to get there.
Then your job is to find out all that they did and when you do just say to your self if they can do it then so can I.
Think big, believe big, act big, and the results will be BIG!

Build a Positive Self-esteem & Self -image
A beggar was sitting at the train station with a bowl full of pencils. A young executive passed by and dropped a dollar in the bowl He then boarded the train before the doors closed, something came to his mind and he went back to the beggar, grabbed a bunch of pencils, and said, "They are priced right. After all you are a business person and so am I," and he left.
Six months later, the executive attended a party. The beggar was also there in a suit and tie.
The beggar recognized the executive, went up to him and said, "You probably don't recognize me but I remember you." He then narrated the incident that happened six months before. The executive said, "Now that you have reminded me, I do recall that you were begging.
What are you doing here in your suit and tie?" The beggar replied, "You probably don't know what you did for me that day You were the first person in my life who gave me back my dignity You grabbed the bunch of pencils and said, 'They are priced right.
After all, you are a business person and so am I.'
After you left, I thought to myself, what am I doing here? Why am I begging? I decided to do something constructive with my life. I packed my bag, started working and here I am. I just want to thank you for giving me back my dignity. That incident changed my life."
What changed in the beggar's life?
What changed was that his self-esteem went up and so did his performance. This is the magic of self-esteem in our lives.
Self esteem is when your engine is firing up on all cylinders full speed ahead, which takes you to your destination your hopes, dreams and aspirations much faster, you have to be internally driven in order to be a success.

How To Become Lucky
"If a man be lucky, there is no foretelling the possible extent of his good fortune. Pitch him into the Euphrates and like as not he will swim out with a pearl in his hand."
—Babylonian proverb
Do you ever noticed that when ever you are going to do something really challenging or go to a job interview or business meeting some one always say to you “Good Luck”. What does that mean good luck?
According to the dictionary the definition of luck is. (The force that seems to operate for good or ill in a person's life, as in shaping circumstances, events, or opportunities: Or good fortune; advantage or success, considered as the result of chance.) So if the dictionaries definition of luck is correct then you and I chances of achieving success via luck are slim to none.
Every one has the desire to be lucky. The all consuming desire to have luck has been in the hearts of men for thousands of years now and it still persist today, every one hopes to be favoured by the whimsical Goddess call Good Luck.
But really is there some way we can attract lady luck, to get her favourable attention, and her generous favours?
I personally believe in luck, But No not the esoteric mystical mythical kind that only comes around every gazillion years; I believe in the luck that Guarantees success every time you use it.
What? Luck that Guarantees success every time you use? What are you talking about Collin? You might say.
But yes it is duplicatable and reusable every time, luck which is spelt L.U.C.K mean ( Labour Under Correct Knowledge) this means that if you exercise LUCK ever day all your achievements in life are sure.
If you want to sit by with your fingers crossed a Horseshoes around your neck with a Four Leaf Clover breaking Wishbones and a Rabbit's Foot in your pocket then by all means do so it’s your choice, but just ask your self how lucky was the Rabbit because right you have his foot inside your pocket.
Good Luck. As we have grown accustom to knowing as cost us many great fortunes that we missed in life and scores of missed opportunities for success, but real luck as it is meant to be Guarantees success every time.
True luck is when preparedness meets opportunity when you (L.U.C.K.) Labour Under Correct Knowledge the compound effect of your preparedness gives you the skills and ability to identify and seize all the great opportunity that comes your way.
So if you really want to be lucky stop sitting around waiting for the mystical goddess of luck to come by and say ooh poor thing and then drop a big bag full of cash in your lap.
As cool as that would be its even better to create your own luck and be the right person in the right place all the time.
Start using your LUCK by doing those things that you know will open many great doors for you.
One of my formulas for being lucky is the five P system the five P’s Guarantees results every time, what are the five P’s you may ask? well the 5 P’s are
Proper – preparation – prevent – poor – performance.
It’s that simple once you are prepared and you have put your self at peak state you can out perform any one and accomplish any thing this is how LUCK works every day all the time Guarantee.
